Look, I know that Vixen Creations’ VixSkin Mustang dildo is not new on the scene. Sex toy reviewers have loved it for years. And I know you’re wondering why I’d write about it when I couldn’t possibly have anything to say that hasn’t already been said. Because I can’t help myself, that’s why- this is my blog, not yours. Vixen’s Mustang is just my favorite thing. It’s not just my favorite dildo, it’s my favorite thing. When I’ve had my fill of its intended use, I still can’t get enough of squishing its soft, pliable head between my fingers. It’s pure tactile joy. And yeah, I’m more than a little obsessed.
About Vixen’s Mustang
Vixen’s VixSkin toys are a line of dual-density silicone dildos. They have a firm core with a super-soft outer layer of luscious body-safe silicone. The result is a dildo that’s firm enough to stand without flopping over while being deliciously squishy to the touch. Vixen’s Mustang is an average-sized, ultra-realistic dildo, both in size and in feel. Cross-crossing veins, a large-but-not-imposing head, and a retracted foreskin add a healthy dose of realistic texture. In Use
At 7 inches in length (6.5 insertable) and 1.5 inches in girth, this dildo is decidedly average in size, if a smidge long. For me, that’s part of what makes this dildo great. Mustang’s size makes it the perfect dildo for everyday use. When you’re not looking for a challenge in terms of size, just a good time, Mustang is perfect. If you do want a challenge, pull out this dildo first for a warm-up. It’s just so darn handy.

I should mention that I own so many dildos. SO. MANY. DILDOS. And yet, I always go back to the Mustang. I say this all of the time but, this dildo is my glass slipper; it just fits. Things to Consider
My only real quibble with the Mustang dildo is how friggin’ sticky VixSkin is. I suppose it’s sort of comforting to know that if I ever have a pet hair emergency, this bad boy doubles as a lint roller. Honestly, I didn’t realize how much my vacuum was missing until I got this dildo. Ultimately though, if I have to deal with the sticky finish in order to experience Mustang’s epic squish, it’s a compromise I’m happy to make. My advice is to always apply a bit more lube than you think you have to in order to combat the stickiness. My lube of choice is, always and forever, Sliquid Silk. And I’m happy to report (after rigorous testing in my lab) that Silk and the Mustang play well together despite the hybrid lube’s silicone content.
Another consideration to make is that even though Vixen’s Mustang is curved to stimulate the g-spot, it’s probably not everyone’s favorite g-spotter. If you require a lot of firm pressure, you’re not going to find it here. The squishy head that makes it so comfy to me will probably disappoint some folks. Fortunately, I bought it for aggressive thrusting rather than g-spotting and it’s just perfect for that. And despite the fact that the glans portion is very squishy, the prominent coronal ridge provides plenty of stimulation.

So is that bullshit or nah?
Nope, it’s totally accurate. If your goal is realism, you just can’t beat the Mustang and the rest of the VixSkin product line. I’ve experienced many of the leading dual-density dildos and VixSkin remains the most realistic offering. If I were a rich woman, I’d collect all that Vixen has to offer because they’re just that good. But since my checking account balance tends to hover around -$2.00, my Mustang will have to be enough for now.
